Our work

Advanced 3D printed arm prosthetics.

Advanced Life Technologies LLC. is developing advanced 3D printed arm prosthetics that feature high-dexterity, low cost, Artificial Intelligence, a similar tactile feel to that of skin, and high functionality and adaptability. Enabled by additive manufacturing, this state-of-the-art arm prosthesis features a biomimetic, anthropomorphic design to support upper extremity trans-radial and transhumeral amputees. The technology allows users to restore natural movement for a higher quality of life.

Several skin tones were developed to offer more inclusivity for the amputee population. Users can experience greater adaptability, functionality, and a more natural appearance with this technology.

What defines it

Built around real-world needs.

High-dexterity

Multi-articulated digits and wrist motion restore a wide range of natural hand function for everyday tasks.

BiomimeticAnthropomorphic

Low cost

Additive manufacturing removes costly molds and hand labor, bringing advanced prosthetics within reach of more patients.

AdditiveAccessible

Artificial Intelligence

Intelligent control adapts grip and movement to the wearer's intent, improving function and adaptability in daily life.

AIAdaptive

Skin-like tactile feel

Realistic materials deliver a similar tactile feel to that of skin — for comfort, natural grip, and a familiar touch.

Get involved

Help shape the technology.

We're looking to understand the feature and design priorities of amputees across a range of demographics — and we want to hear from you.

Get involved

If you or someone you know is interested in contributing to the design process and sharing insights on what features matter most to amputees, we encourage you to reach out! We are hoping to address the needs of a diverse group of people and help drive the technology further through the understanding of the feature and design priorities of amputees across a range of demographics.
