DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Developing, modifying, and testing new composition of 3D printing materials and characterization of material properties suitable for additive manufacturing
Measuring material properties
Materials composition development
Materials testing (shore hardness, tensile test)
Developing progress reports and tabulating data
Capturing, handling, transferring data and reporting experimental results
Provide support to R&D engineers and scientists
Reviewing scientific literature
Education and Experience:
Completed BS, MS or PhD Degree in materials and/or engineering discipline
Knowledge on failure analysis, mechanical characterization
Key Competencies:
Excited by interdisciplinary tasks (materials, software, electronics, mechanics)
Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
Have the ability to assess a situation and identify key issues that need to be addressed
Computer-literate performer with software knowledge covering variety of applications
Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve issues
Have the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
Must be US Citizen
Pay: Depends on Experience (DOE)
Hours: Full time
